Edit 11/25/13: Yesterday I was able to fix up the stuff that was bugging me, so I think I'm content with it now.

The title is a pun based on a mix between the Sonic Rush game titles and Blaze's quote, "Feel the power of the flames!" (I recall her saying those in the Sonic Riders and Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity games. Does she say it in any other games?)
I've been starting to get into a mood of drawing characters that I don't draw much or have never drawn. Blaze is one; as of now I have drawn her three times total, I think. She's one of my favorite Sonic females, too.... ;o; I recently did a small sketch of her, and then I wanted to do something else involving her that was better. I felt like drawing her with Sonic since I had never done it before and I think they make a good duo. I wanted to try doing some different stuff again (Yay, digital paint experimenting!). It also gave me a chance to practice drawing Super Sonic since I had never really drawn him Super before (maybe once or twice many years ago?).
This took about 3 and a half hours to color, minus the sketching and inking. For the inking, I ended up making the outside outlines thicker like the SA style since I thought it might look cool. For the painting, I wasn't sure about all the flame aura effects and stuff and it still wasn't what I had in mind, but I thought it looked alright. I can't fix it if I wanted to because of a big downside.... I was dumb and didn't realize that I had saved the file as a PNG. before closing Sai, so I have no SAI file to go back and make edits with. It all got merged into one, flat layer.
I was kinda annoyed by that.... The good thing is that I basically had this finished and it looks pretty good. There are a few things I have spotted such as the missing shading under Blaze's head that I forgot. That's really the only "major" issue. I'm going to see what I can do about it, hopefully. Besides that, I hope it still looks good, nonetheless!
-Sketched on paper and inked with Micron pens. The lineart was edited with Arcsoft PhotoStudio 5, and colored in Paint Tool Sai. Finished November 23rd, 2013.
