Happy Thanksgiving!

                I know, I know: "Kyla, it's December; it's almost Christmas and Hanukkah.  What is this???"  I should really be calling this "An Unnecessarily Belated Thanksgiving".  Err, or you can just consider it early wishes for next year, I guess?   This is what I get for waiting to come up with an idea for a drawing a day or two before Thanksgiving and then procrastinating on it.  I wanted to make it a point to finish it, though, since I haven't always gone through with completing every holiday artwork I've worked on.  If I didn't get it done this year, I probably wouldn't have touched the next.

                Either way, late or not, I hope you all had a lovely and blessed Thanksgiving!  It's not just on a holiday that we should be thankful, but all year 'round.  The cares of life are easy to let get in the way (I'm certainly guilty of it) and cloud our view from realizing what we do have.  The pilgrims were thankful even after all they faced for having been given the grace to come to a free land.  That thanks rings on into the holiday, but it can sadly be easily forgotten with all the madness involved in preparation and directly after with Black Friday.  Some of us are lots more fortunate than others, and even when it doesn't seem like much, we have to be thankful for what we have.  This is something I need to be reminded of myself.

                Yes, Sonic has a chili dog.  That's all he needs for a feast.   The outfit was based on this artwork that SEGA released last year: sonicthehedgehog.tumblr.com/po…   Ever since seeing that last Thanksgiving, I planned on drawing something based on it for this year.  That's partly another reason that I wanted to get this done before the year's end.  I basically just gave Tails the same outfit as well. xD  Amy just has her normal outfit because I'm lazy.
