There's a lot here, so zoom in to have a better view!
Something I've wanted to do for a long time since the one of Amy I did last year: Have a bombardment of Sailor Moon!
Something I've wanted to do for a long time since the one of Amy I did last year: Have a bombardment of Sailor Moon!
2007: This was just months before I started getting into drawing constantly from going into a Sailor Moon fan-craze. (Yeppers, it wasn't Sonic that started me off, surprisingly). I don't remember when in 2007 I drew this, but I don't think it was the very first Sailor Moon related drawing I ever did. I think the stuff I did shortly before this looked even worse. xD; Just a couple of years before that, I believe I was still only drawing stick people. That was all I did for the longest time, even though I had skill in drawing other things as a kid (mostly from "how-to-draw" and other art-related books I was given.)
January 2008: I started referencing small Sailor Moon video game character sprite poses and drawing them out. When I did that, literally over a day or two, my drawing stye immediately changed from the way my drawings looked in 2007 to this. This is what finally shot the cannon for my drawing. I began drawing daily, sometimes throwing out two or three drawings in one day.
November 2008: 2008 was definitely the year that I think I improved the most rapidly and vastly. People were astonished at how my skills had improved so quickly in less than a year. December 2008 I would start with my first Sonic drawing of Amy as well from getting back into my craze for Sonic.
September 2009: Original--> I think my drawing slowed down considerably in that year, at least for Sailor Moon since I was starting to draw Sonic frequently, but I think this is where my drawing began to look more....skillful? (According to my own standards on my art.) I still like how her face looks here.
September 2010: Again, I didn't draw Sailor Moon much that year, so I didn't have much to show for then.
July 2011: Original--> I still really like this one, actually. It remains a favorite. I remember really enjoying working on this.
September 2012: Original--> (Geeze, it seems like I liked to draw her in September a lot and didn't realize it, huh? XD) I hadn't drawn Sailor Moon or any humans in a while at this point until I drew this. I personally think I got a bit rusty here until I drew her a few times in a row, then I shed that rustiness off.
December 2013 Original--> Maybe this borderlines a bit much with 2014 since I drew this for Christmas, but this was definitely one of my best that year.
July 2014 Original--> Present day!
So, there you have it! It's weird to think that I drew things the way I used to, but then again, it's been seven years. I find it hard to believe it's been that long! I look at the stuff I did up through 2008 and laugh at it. xD; I'm at awe at how the Lord God has really blessed me with this drawing ability and I'm thankful that I have gone as far as I have with it as of yet. All those years ago, I wouldn't have imagined I'd be here. It's not impossible to improve, guys. Just work at it -- study how to improve and try out things, and practice!
