Sonic Character Improvement - Amy 2008 to 2013

I decided that I wanted to put my some of my drawings together to see how I've improved over the years. c: I wanted to see it with Sonic characters, and I picked Amy for it. I would have rather done this with Sonic, especially since I draw him far more often, but I wanted to show the very first Sonic character I had ever drawn.


December 2008 - My very first Sonic drawing. This was nearly a year after I had started drawing a lot, and I was just starting to take a major interest in the Sonic series again. I strangely picked Amy even though Sonic has always been my favorite. It brings back memories to look at this, and I still like the coloring to it somewhat.

February 2009 - This obviously was drawn not long after my first. It was around the time that I started getting into a slight Sonic drawing spree. Not too much say about this one, though. Honestly, I don't really like this one at all. XD It looks worse than my first.
September 2010 - Original--> I still like this one a lot; the posing and anatomy still looks decent. After looking at it, however, I see some things off about Amy's head and face, especially her eyes. Besides that, it's still an old favorite of mine. <3
June 2011 - Original--> This was the last time I had drawn Amy on her own for a couple of years. I still kind of like how this came out and the shading, but I don't like it as much.
2013 (Present) - Original--> My most recent drawing of Amy drawn just in the last couple of weeks. c:

So here we are -- Amy from 2008 to now. Maybe I should have excluded the 2009 and 2011 ones to keep it more short and to the point. I also find it odd that in every drawing she is facing the same way.... Oh well. XD I like the improvements I've made, but like most everyone else, I still have a ways to go. That's where inspiration plays a role. C; I may scrap this later.
