Home: Chapter 1 - Sonic Meets Charon, Page 4

                Well...that went well.  Sonic's just not having a great day.  First, his run gets spoiled by WATER FALLING FROM THE SKY, and then someone who seems to need help runs away from him when he tries to help out.  He's the victim of being assumed as a stranger threat, ahaha.  Poor guy; he's just being himself trying to legitimately help out, and the strange girl just up and runs away.  How does that make you feel when you really are just trying to help someone out? XD  He's Sonic!  He can't help but let his heroism kick in!  That's what he does!  He's not just gonna pass by and ignore someone he just finds looking like a mess in the middle of nowhere.

                To be fair, after being used to having no contact with anyone for years, you try having a random stranger sneak up on you and start talking to you out of nowhere with immediate interest.  That might freak a person out, especially if that person is...very socially awkward and scared of anything and everything.  Even if that mannerism comes naturally to Sonic, she doesn't know that.  She barely met him, pfft.  When it comes to fight or flight, Charon is flight all the way -- too fearful to even try to fight for herself.  That changes, of course, but at the time being, her first instinct is to run away from everything.  The crucial thing she doesn't realize is, running away isn't going to do her any good.  At all.  Not with Sonic.  Unless he let her, but what would be the point in that?  Not much of a story, is it?   If he thinks someone needs help, he's gonna try and find a way to help!  Let's be honest; running from Sonic won't really get you anywhere.

                Okay, rambles aside, here's (at long last) page four of some comic pages I did for fun that envision how Sonic and Charon meet!  It originally came from this fanfiction: sailormoonandsonicx.deviantart… I drew these four pages back in 2016 as an experimental thing for the fun of it to practice comic pages, and I've been quite slowly working off and on to get them all finished.  I've procrastinated on it a lot to work on other things, but these were a lot of work, that's for sure.  This was the last of the four pages and I wasn't really planning on doing anything else after that.  The more I worked on these, however, the more tempting it's been to just take it and turn it into a whole comic. XD  Part of me really wants to, but I know it'll be a LOT of time and hard work.  I just don't know if I have the time.  I have this handful of different stories I'd love to solidify into comics, and just...GAAAH.  So many ideas, so little time. ;A;  But I hope to accomplish all of that one day.  Will you see more of this?  Maybe, maybe not.  It's indeed very tempting to start inching this slowly along into a story, so maybe eventually.  I won't make any promises, though.

                This may very well be my last big project for 2017.  I wanted to get more done, but I suppose it will have to be for 2018 instead now.  Hopefully, I'll be more productive.  I hope you've all had a good year!
